Tony Klinger – Producer


Tony has made many films and other media productions in various capacities, either as a producer, executive, director or writer. These include major international successes such as GOLD, SHOUT AT THE DEVIL, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. This resulted in him working with major global media organizations, and talents as diverse as THE WHO, MICHAEL CAINE, ROGER MOORE, DEEP PURPLE, LEE MARVIN and many other household names.

Klinger’s third book, UNDER GOD’S TABLE is published this year and he is currently writing the feature film screenplay for the best selling book JUST A BOY, the traumatic, ultimately triumphant life story of Richard McCann.

Klinger has also been an academic serving at various times as a Visiting Fellow at Leeds Metropolitan University, a Senior Lecturer and a Visiting Professor at prestigious institutions such as the award winning Bournemouth Film School and The Northern Film School and was Director of the Media Production Centre at the University of East London.

He is in the final stages of production for the film, “Mister Producer” about his late father, the legendary film producer, Michael Klinger and his novel, The Butterfly Boy, was recently published. Klinger’s book, “Twilight of the Gods” about his making the film, “The Kids are Alright” with The Who rock group was released in 2009-10 when Tony also premiered his film Full Circle.

Tony has served on many international boards, such as the Association of Media Practice Educators (AMPE) as National Secretary and is presently serving on The Cultural & Creative Strategy Board, is Patron of the UK Film School and is a Founder / Director of Screen Northamptonshire.

Tony was born in London. Whilst still at school Tony won two national first prizes from sponsored writing competitions and together with some pals ran a successful underground school magazine called Fanfare.

By the age of 18 Tony was making his own small professional films that received wide public distribution. Other than many productions that he was responsible for Tony also worked in media management as he honed his international expertise.

Over a distinguished career Tony was company President or Chief Executive for several media production, sales and distribution companies both in the UK and USA.

Janice Willis – Production Executive


Janice Willis is a film executive and qualified accountant (Fellow of the ACAA) with over 20 years experience in various areas of commerce from International banking, film distribution, film facilities and film production having produced 3 feature films all of which have had international releases.

Willis has also held the position of Group Finance Director for ShortsTV a global T.V. channel part owned by the Liberty Global Group, she produced complex business models for the business as it expanded across Europe and America, helping to steer the business through a tough economic climate by micro managing cash flow of the multi million pound turnover, liaising with investors during investment rounds, and supporting the OSCAR nominated and award winners short film theatrical release across the USA. Willis has proven skills in delivering commercial feature films.

Richard McCann – Associate Producer, Author Of Just a Boy / The Boy Grows Up


Richard McCann is the Sunday Times No 1 Bestselling author of JUST A BOY which sold half a million copies and has been translated into  9 different languages. He has also written the sequel The Boy Grows Up and his book on personal development is aptly called ‘iCan’. He’s a Fellow of The Professional Speaking Association and has spoken all around the world. He is also a Presentation Skills Coach and also runs an events company.  He’s given over sixteen hundred presentations to date and is one of the busiest motivational speakers in the UK right now. His favourite film is The Matrix

Howard Rushfirth – Design

Howard is the Creative Director of the Rushfirth Creative Partnership. He is a designer with a wealth of experience spanning 28 years, covering numerous creative disciplines and market sectors, many of which have been global brands.

As well as providing creative branding for a portfolio of forward-thinking UK companies, as of last year the Rushfirth Creative partnership has been channelling its creative resources into the devising of concepts for character-driven IPs. These are primarily for the feature film / TV / publishing / digital content / app / toy markets.

They have several concepts underway, including:

  • Pre-school education / life experience brand
  • An innovative business / enterprise education concept for the 4-7 year old
  • A comedy-action-adventure, spoof sci-fi / superhero fantasy brand
  • A ‘gross-out’ comedy brand for ‘tweens’ in the ’spaghetti-arms’ style

He is delighted to say that their initial materials have been very favourably received, and many of their initial proposals pitched so far are currently moving their way along numerous pipelines of major broadcasters, media distributors, producers and publishers including Disney, Turner, Nickelodeon, Canal+, BBC Worldwide and many more.

They have already made some significant connections and friendships within the media, broadcasting, movie and publishing industries and are rapidly expanding this group on a daily basis.

Howard has been a creative consultant assisting with the graphics and branding of the Just A Boy feature film project. His favourite film is The Empire Strikes Back.

Paul Broadie Camera: Yorkshire Sequences


Paul is Director at Manto Creative Media and has a background in prime time television production, starting out in documentary production and going on to spend most of his time working in drama production for ITV and the BBC. He now concentrates on camera work and editing as well as developing concepts and scriptwriting. His favourite film is Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.

Anna Crossley – Photographer


Anna is happily juggling motherhood with photography from her home in Leeds.

Fascinated by people and their faces, which is just as well, as she specialise in portraiture. Her clients tell her they love her unique twist on photography and her documentary style (probably influenced by nearly twenty years working in journalism!) which captures the little details that standard portraiture can miss.

She loves what she does and luckily for her, others do too; Her work’s been featured by The Times, the BBC and The Radio Times, as well as some of the country’s top wedding blogs.

Light nights, warm days and chilled wine make her happy. Oh, and she’s rubbish at baking… but she’s working on it. Her favourite film is City of God or Pretty Woman.
